Victim No More: A Program for Domestic Violence Survivors

This transformative program is designed to empower survivors of domestic violence to rebuild their lives with confidence, independence, and resilience. "Victim No More" provides participants with the tools, knowledge, and emotional support needed to break free from cycles of abuse, heal from trauma, and reclaim their personal power. Through a structured curriculum of 15 modules, each containing 3 lessons, the program offers a comprehensive pathway to recovery and self-empowerment.

  1. Understanding Domestic Violence

    • Explore the dynamics of abuse, including psychological, emotional, physical, and financial control.

    • Identify red flags and learn the importance of setting boundaries.

  2. Healing from Trauma

    • Gain strategies to address emotional wounds through therapy, mindfulness, and support networks.

  3. Rebuilding Confidence and Self-Worth

    • Participate in exercises designed to restore self-esteem and recognize personal strengths.

    • Connect with resources for legal aid and advocacy.

  5. Developing Independence

    • Build financial literacy skills, such as budgeting, saving, and credit repair.

    • Explore career planning, job training, and educational opportunities to achieve independence.

  6. Building a Support System

    • Learn how to create a strong network of supportive individuals and community resources.

    • Understand the role of peer support groups in the healing journey.

    • Explore strategies for preventing future abusive relationships.

    • Educate participants on healthy relationship dynamics and conflict resolution.
